    The Shins on tour again!

    It's about time!

    08/08/11 EUGENE, OR W.O.W. HALL
08/09/11 BEND, OR THE DOMINO ROOM
08/10/11 PORTLAND, OR THE DOUG FIR LOUNGE
08/12/11 SAN FRANCISCO, CA OUTSIDE LANDS FESTIVAL
09/22/11 TORONTO, ON PHOENIX CONCERT THEATRE
    09/23/11 PHILADELPHIA, PA POPPED! FESTIVAL
09/24/11 BOSTON, MA PARADISE ROCK CLUB
    10/15/11 PENSACOLA, FL DELUNA FESTIVAL

If I go to The Shins and Dream Theater, it'll be four concerts in four weeks since I already have tickets for Elbow and Wilco. I'm not sure that my old bones can handle that.

Apparently they're still adding dates so don't give up yet.

Deluna in P'cola is less than an hour away from me. I haven't done a festival since Lollapalooza used to travel, but Deluna is shaping up as something interesting.

Is this that band that had a song about seagulls?

My wife and daughter will be catching them at Outside Lands in SF next weekend. Along with Arcade Fire, the Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys, etc. They're pretty torqued up.

I'm definitely jealous, but there's no effing way I can do 2 festival weekends in a row.
