You named your CAT after the DOG in Anchorman?

OMG! LOL! I never even thought of that! Although...I do love that movie. The woman who found him (lost, hungry, and dehydrated) named him.

How many does this make it now? Seems like only yesterday you were asking if having a cat was for you.

That's great! I won't bore everyone with pet stories but this weekend my dogs reminded us how much we appreciate them.

Dean...bore me! I love animal stories.

Baxter is our third cat. We also have Brandy and Stanley. Baxter is doing wonderful so far. We are keeping him confined to our den for a few days, but he's eager to get out and explore...in spite of the 20 pound tabby (Brandy) who has taken up residence on the other side of the den door and occasionally hisses at him.

Stanley is just ignoring the whole thing and keeping his distance from it all.

We'll probably do a few more short introductions between the cats and, if that goes well, let Baxter out of the den tomorrow night.

he has many leather-bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany?
I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.

Slow day at the forum . . .

Three reasons I'm glad I opened this post:

    1. Baxter is adorable! (Pet stories rule!)

    2. I didn't know who Jack Black was when I first saw Anchorman.

    3. The Movie Clip site is awesome!!!

    Thanks, FA!

Thanks Snowie. He's a ton of fun to have around. He looks so small in that photo. He's grown A LOT in a month. Surprisingly Baxter and Brandy have bonded. We catch them playing together all the time. We thought for sure that it would be Baxter and Stanley bonding. Cats are so strange. They never behave how you expect.
