    Promotional Credit

I received an e-mail from Amazon with a $1 MP3 download promotional credit due to the millions I've spent there; has anyone here used one of these ?

    Nope.
I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.

Yes. I get a free download usually around Christmas or someone's birthday, graduation, etc. when I order several music titles. I've downloaded and saved tracks to my computer and I've burned them to disc. Haven't encountered any problem. If you're signed in and follow instructions it's simple and there are 0 charges. The promo is usually only .99, but some tracks are more than that. The only thing I haven't figured out is whether the promo info is saved or stored in my amazon account somewhere. I haven't been able to find promos in my account so I go ahead and grab a song as soon as I get the notice before I forget or lose track.

Yeah. When I remember that I have them I use them to buy songs for my 8 year old. Particularly, the songs that I cringe to throw actual money at.
