Last night I got to see Sir Paul in concert and if he is coming to your town do not miss the show. He played on the Halifax Common in downtown Halifax in front of 50,000 backup singers and he sent all of us home happy after a 2 hour forty minute set of Beatle, Wings and solo hits. He paid tribute to "my friend John" early on and "my friend George" a bit later playing a ukulele given to him by George on "Something in the way she moves". Hey Jude was a highlight of course along with Let it Be and a hard rocking Live and let Die with large flame pots across the front of the stage and fireworks lighting up the night sky.
Anyway if you get a chance to see him don't miss it, you will not regret it. It's going to be a rock and roll week here in Halifax, Kiss plays the same outdoor venue next Saturday.
