You know, I spent a lot of time in Scranton...
..and it cracks me up when they talk about some of the pubs and stores there. A good client's brother used to manage Farley's Eatery and Pub (actor Jason Miller died from a heart attack there in 2001), which has been mentioned on the show. He told me that fans of the show would call there asking for souvenirs. They didn't have much of anything but ended up getting a bunch of stuff and shipping all over the states.

The brother has since opened his own place in Scranton and I'll be visiting there on March 9th. I used to live in Northeastern PA for about 11 years before moving back to my hometown around 12 years ago.

I lived in the area for a year, back in the 70s. But I've managed to block most of it from my memory, thankfully.

But more to the point... I love The Office. More specifically, I love Pam. In a way that borders on 'creepy'.
