    CD's that tell a story

    Hi,
Some of my favorite CD's are ones that are telling a story, song by song. My favorite is "Desperado" by the Eagles. I would like to hear yours as well, perhaps I could add another favorite, or learn of a new one along the way. Thanks.

I would call albums new idea or the first of a kind a "concept" album. Such as "Pet Sounds" by the Beach Boys, or "Sargent Peppers" by the Beatles.

What I meant are albums that are stories or opera, like "Tommy" by the Who, which also could be considered a concept album, since it was the the first "rock opera" (I could be wrong, but it was the first rock opera that I remember)..
"Quadrophenia" by the Who would be story album, but not a concept album, since the idea had been done before with Tommy.

"the Coolies followed the one-joke dig..? with the brilliant Doug, a trenchant "rock opera" about a skinhead who murders a transvestite short- order cook, gets rich by publishing his victim's recipes, falls into paranoia and substance abuse and ends up in the gutter. "

    I don't like others.

Coheed & Cambria's albums are about those space-war comic books the singer wrote. Wish I could figure out the whole story...

So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
