Me thinks Sammy likes these big projects. I figured Anthony and Hagar would do some sort of project together, but with Satriani? I guess Hagar likes working with those guitar heroes - at least he isn't intimmidated by them.

I hope when Hagar says he wants to focus on musicianship he doesn't mean "like Van Halen". I hope Sammy focuses on songcraft as much as musicianship, unlike Hagar's stint in VH. Those albums had some good stuff on 'em, but they were so spotty. And the 'focus on musicianship' credo is somewhat ironic given who they have on bass.
