OT - looking for Get A Life DVDs

Does anyone remember Chris Elliott's short lived sit-com in the early 90's called Get A Life? It was one of those shows that was just so stupid that you couldn't help but laugh at it. My Hubby and I LOVED it and were very disappointed when it was cancelled. I just found out that both seasons were available on DVD a few years ago and are now OOP. I missed it!

Does anyone here, by any chance, have copies of these DVDs or know anyone who has them that would like to sell them or be willing to make copies of them for me? Preferably, sell them. There are a couple of copies on ebay, but the seller won't ship to Canada and the copies on ebay.ca are going for almost triple the price of the American sellers.

I know it's a long shot, but I thought that I would take a chance in asking here since many of you seem to appreciate the same type of humour that I do. This would be the perfect surprise Xmas gift for my hubby. If you can help, please PM me.

And to keep this post musical, does anyone remember the episode, Zoo Animals on Wheels? It was a musical with people in animals costumes on roller skates. I can't remember ever laughing so hard at a TV show, either before that episode or since.

    Cheers!

L yeah I remember that show, one of the funiest we ever saw. My wife and I loved it too. We have a couple of the Rhino VHS tapes that had about 3 episodes each. Several years ago the USA network rebroadcast the entire series and I put all but the first episode on VHS. Sadly my cable company didn't give me the best picture for that network but still, it's great to have even if it is puny VHS.

I didn't realize that Rhino had released both seasons on DVD. I know at one point they released a vol. 1 and 2 but I'm pretty sure that was similar to the vhs release, just a few shows on each DVD. If they really did release it all I missed it completely. I can copy most DVDs but the only ones that never seem to work right are the episodic discs but I'd sure give it a shot if I ever find this terrific show on disc.

Although as you know those DVDs are OOP now and can get expensive and only have a few shows. There is news that Sony may be releasing the first season ... http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4354

I knew that I would find a few fans here. I mistakenly assumed that since there were two disks released, it was the two seasons.

Thanks for the link about a possible release of season one Davey. I'll keep a lookout for it this time.
