    New RUSH dvd next week

The new Rush dvd comes out next week, looking forward to that one.

Word is it's superior to Rush in Rio.

    We shall see, won't we?

Sweet, this is gonna rock...and of course I must get the special edition!

Also DVD's of Exit Stage Left, Grace Under Pressure Tour, Through The Camera Eye, and A Show Of Hands are coming down the road....and it's about time. My laserdisc to DVD transfers are looking kinda old. They need a digital remaster

Troy, if those who aren't into it don't buy it then there should be no impact on them. No harm no foul.

Well, who's bought all their albums past Power Windows?

I was wondering the same thing to myself. I was actually thinking of getting a Rush DVD, but I will get only one...there's a 'few' to choose from, too. But seriously, didn't the 'RIO' DVD just come out a couple of years ago? I guess its cheaper than a concert ticket.

So, to the rest of you...If I were only going to get just one Rush concert DVD, which one should I get? (and I mean just one)

Well there is only 1 Rush concert dvd out now so I recommend you hold the phone until the new one comes out and then we will advise on our opinions as to which one is the best.

As a Rush fan, I'll rent it.

Like 3LB, how many of these things that most of us watch once or twice are we supposed to buy?

I tell ya, this band had released more concert vids than even Yes. At some point it just turns into cashing in on you guys, taking advantage of your infatuation with the band, don't it?

    Not meant to antagonize . . .

This will be their 2nd concert video on DVD. I hardly call that flooding the market.

Soup? Was soup on the menu?

I'm bringing the beer. Still waiting on who likes what. Can be wine too if you like. A bottle of Jack while I'm at it.

Someone else needs to bring the wings, soup, chips & dips etc.

    ROAD TRIP!

If the new DVD is better than RIO, it will be a real treat! As a Rush fan ( about 15 live concerts) I still find it AMAZING that a 3-piece band can actually make that much music on-stage! ZZ (3-piece band) comes close, and the new CREAM (3-piece band) DVD comes even closer!
The only short-coming I found with RIO is the video is a bit grainy, but the audio ROCKS! This DVD stays in the DVD changer in my car!
