    Neil Young Heart of Gold dvd

    Anyone here seen this yet?

    It gets a lot of excellent reviews, just wondering before I spend the $.

    I bought it, but I've yet to view it. Dropped it into the DVD player, but popped it out when all the advertisements/previews started…pissed me off. I’ll try again sometime.

    I liked it a bunch

    Rented it from my local Hollywood Video. Watched it twice, including the extras which I rarely do, but it was that good. He does mostly stuff from his latest, Prarie Wind, with his wife and EmmyLou Harris as backup singers, Neil really plays with passion here, not a speck of phonyness.

    But damn did he got old lately, I think he just turned 60. His voice is still going strong.

    So as long as your not expecting the earlier rockier Neil, this is mostly acoustic country rock from his latest album with a few of the old chestnuts thrown in.
