Have you heard Lacuna Coil's new one yet?

"New", as in, newer than Karmacode? I've heard Karmacode, and although I like it, it's not making my year end list.

I heard Katatonia's Viva Emptiness and was neither 'here, nor there' about it, finding it a tad fatiguing after the two-thirds point...how is that new one compared to Viva?

You will probably find it fatiguing as well. "Probably" -- but see my post above about how albums that sound the same to one individual might sound completely different to another. I love all four of their most recent albums. I recently revisited Viva Emptiness and was surprised by how much I like it. I'm not sure which one I like the most.

I think 06 had some of the best Rock releases in recent memory. On Friday or

Godsmack.IV...A Great Amp/Speaker Workout CD
AudioSlave..Revelations...As far as great vocals, and crazy guitar, as good as it gets.
Priest..Angels Of Retribution..Halford returns, Tipton/Downing crank it up a notch. Nuff said.
