What's up with Moo, ya goofball? And what's the connection between Gemma Hayes and Moo, you ask? Well, it is a trip through the roundabout at best, but moo reminds me of cow, and the song "Cow" by Sparklehorse is one of my favorite songs ever, and I like Gemma a lot, and I read in an interview once that "Cow" is one of her favorite songs ever, and one that she would've loved to write, the way Linkous weaves in that image from an old Irish ballad, pretty girl milking a cow. How can you resist a woman with such insight? Classic stuff.
