    Monday Blues
I tend to stick with the blues on Mondays for some reason ;)

    Charlie Musselwhite ~ Sanctuary

Deep seated Mississippi delta blues with an all-star lineup. Perfect with the first cup of coffee on a Monday morning.

Time for a little slide guitar, yes, yes!

Harry Manx ~ Wise and Otherwise

Doesn't matter if its one of his own, or a cover. When Harry interprets and applies his unique style, he owns the song.

Kelly Joe Phelps ~ Tap the Red Cane Whirlwind

The real deal - the only way I know to describe the artist and this disc.

    A well worn favorite

Rollie Tussing ~ Blow Whistle Blow

"Rollie Tussing plays his acoustic, electric, and cigar box guitars in a rootsey delta-blues manner, with a gospel-soaked voice and foot-stomping beat. Very few people can leave a Rollie show without goose bumps, wondering in amazement how so much music comes from just one man. -Madison Courier"

Well, the thunderstorms have finally moved on through (I hope), so I'll power up the system in a few minutes. First up will be Eva Cassidy - Live at Blues Alley. Haven't spun this one in a while.

I don't know much about Blues, although ChipB has sent me all kinds of stuff that I'm slowly making my way through...so thanks to Chip if he's reading this.

I did want to say to Dave that it's nice to see you back. :yesnod:

    Today...
I'm spinning B.B. King's classic "Live at the Regal". I think this is a must for any fan of the blues, or killer guitar in general. Every live album should sound this good.
His Majesty was definitely "On" that night.

"I gave you a brand new Ford
and you just said I want a Cadillac
I bought you a ten dollar dinner
You said Thanks for the snack
I let you live in my penthouse
You said it was just a shack
    I gave you seven children
and now you wanna give 'em back"
