    Life keeps getting better!

Oh the wonderful feeling of finding out that one of your favourite disbanded bands have reunited! A new Crowded House album is being released on July 2. Yet another reason to look forward to summer!

2007 is already looking to be a much better year, musically, than 2006 was.

    That is.....

.....good news. I heard that too. Have you listened to the Finn brothers solo release?

I have also some exciting musical happening to look forward to. Tomorrow night I go and see "James" again at their home coming gig here in Manchester. They have not played together for six years. The last show of theirs I went to, was 15 years ago. So I am up for it.

    Have a great weekend.

    Peace

I thought you were talking about Loverboy. Look for their new CD.

We saw Loverboy at the Casino a couple of years ago. Somewhere in the archives of this site is my review. It was a fun blast from the past.

...on that post, and deservedly so. They were about the worst thing to come out of Canada since Molson beer.Glad you have a few other solid bands to make up for that embarrassment.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

I have their 1995 relase, Finn. I also have Neil Finn's solos releases, Try Whistling This and 7 World's Collide. I prefer Neil's solo CD to the collaberation.

Rush can stay north of our border for all I care.

Well, we agree on one thing...there's some great Canadian music...if not agreeing on the actual music that is great.

Sloan are hit and miss. Hubby hates them!
Tragically Hip were great once, but their last few CDs were mediocre.
I've never been a Neil Young fan. Great songwriter, but should let someone else sing.
Cowboy Junkies make me want slit my wrists with a crack needle, slowly...puncture hole by puncture hole.

I'll give you k.d. lang and Joni Mitchell. And there are soooooo many others. Keep spinning those disks I sent you. It's an all Canadian line-up.
