This just in...Journey Rocks!!!

The first three albums that is. Just got hold of a comp of the first line-up and my, this is good stuff. And completely different. I don't hate Perry era Journey, but too bad I had to wait, what...30 years to hear this . I should know better by now. Well, that's why I'm here, every day.

And I must say, the sound quality is much better than I thought it would be.

Yeah, those first 3 albums are like a completely different band. Total mid-70 prog thing, but back then pretty much every band was dabbling in the style.

Saw 'em at Winterland back in the day (31 years ago, gulp) and they smoked. Saw the second show they ever did with Perry (opening for ELP at Oakland Arena) and it was like they had lost their teeth.
