    Don't ask me how I stumbled on this website of rare, novelty recordings, haven't had time to go through much of it, but this recording of Pat Boone at an Amway convention just screamed TROY!

    Ha, ha. I have sometimes wondered what happened to the 365 days project. It was a site in 2003 you could go to daily to download something unusual, one track a day. Kind of fun wondering whether tomorrow would bring something interesting or awful. Looks like they re-did it in 2007.

    I've lost most of the tracks I had but I still have (and even listen to occasionally) The Space Lady's cover of Major Tom. I can't really say why I still listen to it; maybe it's the general creepiness... I dunno.

    I also still send the track for Understanding Marx to all my more capitalistically inclined friends.

    I guess this sorta thing went on all the time with those fast and loose Hollywood types. I would pay money to see the look on Pat Boone's face if someone actually gave such a proposition.
