    ISO Overplayed Symphonie Fantastique

I'm looking for a Chicago Symphony recording of Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique. Specifically, a conversation long long ago was about the trombones "overplaying" in this particular recording.....that's the one I want. Anyone?

    Hey R.R.,

Not being part of the conversation it's hard to say, but I know that the Dutoit/Montreal Symphony version on Decca (#455361) is often recommended to studying Horn players. Might be a place to start looking...

Good luck and welcome to the forums.
