I just found my new Anthem!
How on earth did I not find this one earlier? I've had the CD for a year!!!

    I sincerely miss
    those heavy metal bands
I used to go and see
on the landing in the summer
she fell in love with the drummer
she fell in love with the drummer
    she fell in love

    Shiny shiny pants
    bleached blonde hair
    a double kick drum
she fell in love with the drummer
    another
    then another
    she fell in love

I miss the innocence I've known
    playing Kiss covers
    beautiful and stoned
    unlock my body
    move myself to dance
    into warm liquid
    flowing blowing glass
    classical music blasting
masks the ringing in my ears

    oh I sincerely miss
    those heavy metal bands
    I used to go see
on the landing in the summer
she fell in love with the drummer
she fell in love with another
    she fell in love

I miss the innocence I've known
    playing Kiss covers
    beautiful and stoned.

I Prefer The Blonde In The Bleachers
The blone in the bleachers, whe flips her hair for you
Above the loud speakers, you start to fall
She follows you home but you miss living alone
You can still hear sweet mysteries calling you
The bands and the roadies, lovin' 'em and leaving them
It's a pleasure to try 'em, it's trouble to keep 'em

'Cause it seems like you've got to give up such a piece of your soul
When you give up the chase
Feelin' it hot and cold, you're in rock 'n roll
It's the nature of the race
It's the unknown child, so sweet and wild
It's youth, it's too good to waste

She tapes her regrets to the microphone stand
She says you can't hold the hand of a rock 'n roll man
    Very long
Or count on your plans with the rock 'n roll man
    Very long
Compete with the fans for your rock 'n roll man
    For very long
The girls and the bands and the rock 'n roll man

You never know when you're iPod is going to come in useful!
Weather's fine in Tampa, about 70 degrees and overcast. Too bad work isn't a vacation.
Say hi to everyone for me.

Work isn't a vacation? You should have had my job for the last three months! Your song is all fine and good, but you've never fallen in love with a drummer ;) . Or have you.

    :D

P.S. We just scored 14th row floors (Geddy Lee side of the stage) for Rush at the Amphitheatre on Aug. 22.

    1. You are right. Work can be a vacation, or in your case, a vacation can be work!
    2. You are right. I have never fallen in love with a drummer. But let Blonde In The Bleachers be a lesson for you nonetheless, in case you try that again!
    3. Dream Theater, Yes, Rush. Guess you'll have to cancel those 10th anniversary vacation plans. Too bad I'm not going to see them (don't foget that my birthday is coming up!)

Check your email. We have an extra pair of tickets. The seats aren't as good, but still, they could be worse.

And don't forget David Bowie postponed from December. That's coming up in April. But you're right. No wonder we can't afford a vacation.

    Rush? Whozzat?
I hope to see them again this go-round.

I also need to score some Yestickets, as they are indicating that a new set is in the works.

I hope that you get to see both of those shows Dave. But be forewarned....if you wanna see Rush you had better plan to give them your arm AND your leg. Ticket prices are going to knock your socks off. Top ticket price here is $115 each Canadian! And that's before service charges, shipping charges, etc. etc.

This is the most that I have ever spent on concert tickets. I think that this is going to have to be my last big concert for a while. Prices are just too steep for the big bands. :(

Good Gawd! $115 for RUSH? No way.
No way in hell I can pay that.

    I'll pay $20.
