I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

I didn't see them in Philly; it was The Chameleon Club in Lancaster (I live @ 40 minutes from there, so it's a lot closer). They did not play that cover, sorry to say. In fact, there were three...yes, THREE...opening acts, and it was annoying as all hell. I was falling asleep before BTS took the stage. I mean, WTF Chameleon?! It was a week night!

Amazon or DeepDiscount? Hmmm. Let me see. Have to order some other stuff too.

    Hey there Stone!

Do I sense a resurrection of sorts? Or is it a reunion? There are voices I am hearing for the first time in years. Mind you, I have not been here for way too long, myself.

A BIG shoutout to all of you crazy rr girls and guys!!!!!

It's kinda old school, I know, but I made a couple orders from DeepDiscount recently.

Just got word the new CocoRosie Heartache City CD shipped. The CD was just released, only download last month.

Also ordered The Magical World of the Strands reissue I mentioned in that other thread. Great, great album, and I'll soon finally have a real hold-it-in-my-hands copy to play with.

And the new Israel Nash's Silver Season, some pretty cool cosmic country stuff. Nice headphone music.

Picked up that new Marriages album there too awhile back, along with a couple others.

Anyway, fun stuff, there's been a few good ones this year. Listening to the new The Agent Intellect by Protomartyr, some pretty cool post-punk type stuff.

We had a really good run back in the day. But like all good things...I know for sure I'm still digging on a lot of the bands that I got turned on to via this forum. Still buying way too much and there's never enough time!

    take care all,

    Hey jc!

Good to hear that you are still kicking around. Again, it is very heartening to see that many of the past rr regulars are back. Sure - it's not the same, but now that many of us have reached full saturation with the internet and it's instantly gratifying experiences, maybe it's time to discuss music again in a familiar way with a select group of music aficionados.
Speaking of which - What are you first impressions of Florasongs?
