Porcupine Tree: Signify // reissue is worth getting again

I have listened for a few days now, and I think the second disc is worth buying this one over again. And the sound quality, while the original release was good, is an improvement to these ears. Where the original was on the 'warm' side (sonically speaking), this reissue is a tad brighter and punchier.

The alternate take on the title track 'Signify', which is 'Hallogallo/Signify' on disc two, sounds like it would be right at home on Pink Floyd's More film soundtrack. Some good stuff didn't make it to the final album.

Anyone else here heard this disc two, otherwise known as Insignificance? This may just be a demos set, but it proves that Steve Wilson has better ideas in his waste basket than a lot of 'artists' have on store shelves.

This album is still my favorite PT release, partly because of disc 2.
