Happy 44th Birthday to Curt Kobain.

Well, it was actually yesterday, but I was too busy to post. It's hard to believe that he's gone for almost 17 years as April 5th is the infamous date.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.

I had a moment the other night...

...hearing the following song on the radio...aimlessly driving, thinking to myself that it had a rare combination of rock-driven guitars that I like and the plaintive vocals of the "indie" breed...it wasn't until I saw the video and very derivative "Cobainisms" that I really put a lot of thought into just how much Curt's legacy still plays a role with today's disaffected youth.

The man left a lasting mark on the music industry in many forms and many ways and, like Jimi and Janis and a host of others, left us far too early...
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
