Exclamation Richard Hawley: any other fan here?

Anything wrong with me for enjoying this stuff a lot? I do love the music of this guy, especially the albums "Coles Corner" and "Lady's Bridge".

What do you think about? Should I be somewhat ashamed for enjoying this music that much?

    Best regards,
    Demetrio.

    Whattup D.,

I own both albums and they have made their fair share of rotations around these parts.

If I have any critique it's that Hawley's range seems slightly limited leading to a lot of similar key signatures and a sound that's a bit samey. That said, with that sort of whistful, airy keyboards and medium deep-voiced crooning style it invokes a combination of shoegaze meets Gene Pitney.

I say rawk on my friend, no shame, never apologize and never explain.

So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
