Good songs/albums for bringing out speakers

I just got a new receiver and I can finally take full advantage of my speakers. So far Clapton Chronicles I think brings out the speakers best out of all my CDs. Any other suggestions?

SRV- Tin Pan Alley from Couldn't Stand The Weather...one of the tunes that made me buy my speakers.

    Bob James- Grand Piano Canyon
    Buena by Morphine
Anything by Carl Filipak....Geetar teacher from Baltimore

Iff your looking to test Bass...try the soundtrack to Passenger 57 or any Stanley Clarke.

    I like:

    Stabbing Westward, Darkest Days
The Nine, Native Anger (those two are both HDCD)
Einsturzende Neubauten (sic), Silence is Sexy
    Nine Inch Nails, Broken
Friends of Dean Martinez, pretty much anything
pretty much anything produced by Steve Albini

But then again, a lot of that has to do with familiarity.

If you have a 5.1 system with DTS, I really like Steely Dan's Gaucho DTS-CD as a demo disc. The bass and sax just jump out and sit in your lap.

    - BRIAN BROMBERG - Wood
    - OZRIC TENTACLES - Curious Corn
    - PORCUPINE TREE - In Absentia (DVD-Audio)

    Cheers,
    Demetrio.
