    A funny Bush/Kerry spoof
Go here for a hilarious spoof of Woody Guthrie's This Land.

    www.jibjab.com

Be warned, however, that the download takes a while. But it's well worth the wait.

Apparently the site is being sued by whoever owns the copyright to the song as they don't have permission to use it. The site is being asked to pull the piece. But as of the time of this post, it's still there. :D

That jibjab material is great. Clever guys.

I saw another spoof of our intrepid candidates this past Wednesday night at an Alice Cooper show that I had the pleasure of attending. His last encore was "Elected" and near the end of the song two guys dressed as Kerry and Bush (with convincing masks BTW) appeared onstage and began to dance. They put there arms on each others shoulders in an apparent gesture of civility. Bush then pulled part of Kerry's shirt off, exposing a pasty-covered nipple (ala Miss Jackson). As the Bush character reveled in the misfortune of Mr. Kerry his pants fell off. Cheesy perhaps, but it was as compelling a political statement as I've seen thus far during the campaign.

A quick side note. The Cooper show as sensational.
