Hey, what's the best cheap beer? A buddy of mine brought over some Miller s<a>hit a coupla days ago and it has this stiff head on it almost like shaving cream. How do they do that? Beer was OK, but you almost have to scrape the top with a spoon to get to the beer. Weird. Guess Bud is still the best when you can get it in that $3.50 price range for a six, which is kinda rare nowadays, but not that rare. What do you normally drink? I almost always spring for cheap imports so it's usually about $5.00 minimum for a six. Recommendations welcome.....even if you are a street shillin' pimpin' teamer ;)

Uncanny! Actually I'm stuck with MGD (bottles, of course). Of all of the cheap mass market domestics, this is the only one I can tolerate (on a short term basis) because it has a semblance of taste; not beer-flavored water like A/B or Coors' products. I'm not much of pilsner guy either but at least it doesn't give me a hangover and I can choke it down.
Normally I buy Hofbrau Munchin lager. Yum!
NP: Joe Walsh - The Confessor - just because

Yeah, it was the MGD, although there doesn't really seem to be that much difference between that and the cheaper Miller stuff. But ya know, we didn't do a double-blind ABX test either :)

Hofbrau Munchen Original Lager Beer 500ml $2.59
90 Bright yellow-gold hue. Tangy and lightly toasted pale malt aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice bitter hop note and a dry finish. (tasted on 10/1/2002) Source, Tastings.com.

The video quality is nice and I'm sure an improvement over the VHS tape but I wouldn't say it's stellar. Sound is in Pro-Logic. Length is about 1 hour.
Thanks for the in-depth. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it this weekend. If I see it for under 20 bucks I'll snag it.

I do believe they use actual shaving cream.
Either that or dishwashing detergent.
When I'm in the mood for a brew, and the only choices are Anheiser-Bush or ...Anheiser Bush, I usually go for Killian's. Otherwise, I abstain.

Yeah, that's it ...drool. I get in cases of pints. Sometimes as little as $18 on sale, but usually around $25.
