    FOALS: Total Life Forever

    Saw this in the store the other weekend. A kind of cross twix TV On The Radio and The Sea & Cake and reverb...boy, them youngins sure be liking some reverb. Not quite dance beat oriented as TVotR and employing plenty of space, ther're several songs over the 5 min mark. Lots of cascading guitars ala Band Of Horse but not near as precious as those guys get at times. Me likey. Falls right in line with the Avi Buffalo that good ole Rae rec'd a coupla weeks ago, though not as folky.

    I like Sea and Cake and Archer Prewitt quite a bit. Might have to search this out.

    Precious = showing up in the fade-out of Scrubs, House, One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, etc

    I am not entirely turned off by it myself, but I now some twangmeisters are.
