Flyers Dead. Photos won't be released.
They looked like total crap the last two games. Losing the OT game after out-playing the Bruins was the death knell. Oh well, Boston isn't going anywhere so their fans shouldn't get too exited.

Sad stuff Swisheroo...I have to disagree with your assessment of Boston however. Clearly they're peaking at the right time of the year and, for the first time in many years, I'm more "exited"[sic] about the Eastern Conference finals than those from the Left Coast.

I predict we'll see a San Jose/Tampa Bay finals, which by all things considered should be a good series.

SJ and Vancouver seem to be the strongest teams remaining. Boston got hot and the Flyers took a step backward this season. Not surprised at the outcome.

Really surprised at TBay though - sort of a wildcard now, they're playing better than they should.

Naturally, I shall cheer for whoever is playing Vancouver.

    Sorry, Swish.

But, now I can enjoy me some playoff hockey.

I mean, I'm a human being, ya know.

Here's the eulogy. It's worth the time.

Maybe a little. I fully agree on the goalie issues. They had a shot at several free agents and what did they do? Of course.

Last year they had an incredible playoff run & didn't have such a terrible year. I loathe the team but there's this gratuitous snark that I think is unnecessary.

Oh, heck, don't let me stop you. I'm just not sure I like the idea that ineptitude on the part of the Philly GM needs any more scrutiny; might give his bosses some ideas.

Still, a year after the conference finals was #7 vs. #8 I'm not convinced it's Philly's GM that should be feeling the heat, especially given Washington's second straight early exit.
