Couple of Misery- err, Mystery Discs for you...

Just thought you'd like to try & guess who these bands are. Shouldn't be too hard.

    Ok, here's the first one.

    Number two.

    Number three.

Should I give hints, at least what kind of music it is?

    I'll bite.

Or should I say, they will probably bite.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.

Heh heh, you are sooooo clever!

Of course they bite, and they suck, too. That's why they were in the cutout bins. You think I'm gonna give away good discs for free?

I had to redo the 3rd disc, so if it didn't work for you at first, it should now.

Ok, fack it. I'm bored, so I'll post a few comments about the discs. Maybe this will garner some interest.

1 "After years of hoppy, candid, and usually booming pop/rocking, ____ _____ seems devoted to comfortably mirroring on the many places he's been over the years, and so keeps his melodies generally elementary and the production highly airy, with special accents on the razzle-dazzle electric and acoustic soloing that became his trademark in the _______ days."

2 "The first proper _____ ___ album features the band at its unusual best. _______ _____ is absolutely noncommercial art rock filled with ambitious arrangements and slightly disturbing themes courtesy of the ____ ____ and ___ ____ songwriting partnership."

3 "This album rocks out, but it mostly relies on delicate indications and simpler compositions -- something evocative of Ian Anderson's own dealings with a developing voice and more introspective interests.

"As usual, arrangements are finely prepared and varied from song to song, resulting in a very satisfying set high on catchy songs and surprisingly low on expendable content."

I've changed a few of the adjectives to help prevent cheating.

I was hoping it would be this:

And the world will turn to flowing pink vapor stew.

Let's just say I was kicking around a couple ideas but was 'split' between the two of them. Let's just see how it endz up.

    Hey Swish

    just picked this up

    http://www.amazon.com/Squier-Fender-.../dp/B0002DV74I

    not from this seller

    http://www.zzounds.com/item--SQU327602

    or this one

    http://www.elderly.com/fmic/items/SQTP90-BLND.htm

but they have better product pages on this

sorry for hijacking but I'm sure you'll get over it

    i'm in spokane, wa

today as i'm sure everyone knows on the east coast it was like 100+ degrees out

70 here. It was 47 when I woke up this morning.

I hadn't been able to so much as pick up my guitar back home in NYC for MONTHS.

    Big difference here.

can't exactly afford hundreds of dollars for a real good piece of wood but for $250 this Squier is doing the trick quite nicely. Agathis body, maple neck, P-90s (which I chose over the black model with humbuckers).

This is my 3rd time coming to Spokane in summertime when the weather back east is unbearable.

    Me likey.

Back to yr regularly scheduled, um, biting.

    I don't like others.

..wtf. I like the 'crafted in Indonesia' label. I remember when the Jap Squire was hot, and very well made. Had a red Strat that I wish I'd never sold. Then they were made in Korea and didn't have a good reputation, and even worse when they headed to Mexico after that. Maybe Indonesia is the new Japan?

I'd give me eye teeth for 70 degrees!
