Music for a hot summer afternoon.

This is a nice folky accoustic effort with catchy little songs that just kind of drift along nicely. Nothing takes off and nothing really stands out. It's like folk music for slackers.

Someone with some songwriting balls like David Mead could kick these tunes into gear and create polished gold from these nuggets.

If you don't own any David Mead, and you like Rouse, then skip this one and pick up Mead's most recent Indiana, which is much more satisfying.
