Anything Celine does sticks around like the smell of rotten fish. I won't click on it but do like a few things from Anastacia.

I don't know if you can call this a cover song since he wrote it, but Bob Dylan's version of "All Along the Watchtower" is terrible. At least the one on Youtube is. It starts out very good, but as soon as he starts singing. The version that he does with The Band isn't to bad, but it's too fast for my liking.

Not necessarily "worst", but I'd like to see a thread of least explicable covers, like this:

That's just horrible - both as a song choice and the singing. She does look a lot like Steve Tyler though (or vice versa).

Much worse than that kickin' Celine AC/DC rendition. Apart from seeing Celine strutting in her heals, I thought they rocked. Great Vegas lounge work! But then I like Michael Buble.

I was actually pretty impressed with her ability to duckwalk in those shoes... Impressed/unsettled.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

The Patti Smith video sounds like drunken karaoke.

Lots of stuff from Pat Boone or Shatner. That Celine version doesn't sound bad perse, but I can't look at it.

    Actually.....

As a musician who's done more'n his share of covers the Celine Dion vid isn't the worst I've done or seen. She was selling it, the band was crackin' if not exactly sweatin' and struttin' like Angus and the boys. It was NOT the worse cover I've seen or heard by any stretch of the imagination. You have to understand, I once got drug to see Pat Boone LIVE after his heavy metal foray. I've been blinded, I've been scarred. I promised my compantion I'd walk out if he'mangled Little Richards "Tutti Fruitti" one more time. He did and I did.

    Ladies and gentlemen...

Per my post above... I present the following proof:

Pat Boone's Awful Tutti Frutti cover - YouTube
Pat (siff as a stick) Boone

Little Richard - "Tutti Frutti" - from "Don't Knock The Rock" - HQ 1956 - YouTube
A subdued Little Richard doing it on film!

Yeah, Boone had a somewhat successful run a decade or so ago doing his kitschy metal thing, but I told people then, "hey, this dude can yuck it up now, but this was his real act back in the 50s, when he raped early rock tunes". Dude was marginally talented at best. Howdy Doody thought the dude was wooden.

I actually could make it to the end of the Celine performance... but could only last 30 seconds of that scary animatronic version of Tutti Fruitti.
