The Doors Vinyl Box Set

The new Doors/Rhino joint project -- Has anyone had a chance to listen to these yet? I'd be curious to see how they compare to the "Perception" box. The DVD-A versions of their studio albums in "Perception" are pretty hard to match. I wonder if these 180g vinyls will come from the digital remasters or the original analog tapes.

When the Stones remastered their entire catalogue on SACD, they too came up with a new line of vinyl "remasters" afterwards... But, if I remember correctly, those came from the DSD masters created for the SACD release.

Bet they are analog pressings of digital sources.

If they were AAA I would be interested for sure.

Wonder how you could find out?
