Over the weekend, I watched the broadcast of the highlights of the 2006 V Festival in England. Most of it was good to very good (and I thought Morrissey, Radiohead, and Bloc Party were great - at least what they showed of them).

This guy (from the order they played them, anyway) apparently opened the second day. He is so bad, I felt embarassed for him.

How did this guy ever get even remotely popular?

Maybe he just had a bad day
    Maybe he's taking one down
Maybe he needs to sing a sad song just to turn it around
    Maybe he just doesn't know
    Maybe he just won't lie
Maybe he needs to work at a smile and then go for a ride
or maybe he just had a bad day...?
