Can anyone identify the song and singer...

...on a recent TV commercial? I forget what the ad was about, but they show an big old sedan heading down a road and a guy with an interesting voice singing "See me driving down the street...". Sounds like a honky-tonk, alt-country type of thing, and I should probably know who it is, but I don't.

    Just wondering,

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

Well now, the song is called Punkrocker. The band is The Bears but this track features the singing talent of Mr. Iggy Pop. That would of course explain the familiarity. Great, great, great toon.

Never did get the album though.
