Anyone here a Cairo fan?

I heard a song from them over at DA. They sound a tad bit like Dream Theater in a way IMO. Its one of those Magna Carta label bands, so I have reservations. Song was <i>The Prophecy</i> from the CD <u>Time Of Legends</u>... twern't bad.

I have one album from them, Time Of Legends. Let me get back to you as I haven't listened to it in awhile. I seem to remember not liking it very much. Pretty generic stuff.

And I was right. The Prophecy is the best thing on this album. The rest is pretty generic and forgetful.

Man, I guess I do have a clunker in my collection.

I didn't like Cairo much either. I used to have one, I think called "Conflict and Dreams?" and it sounded like really bad noodly ELP mixed with Dream Theater with a singer that reminded me of Dennis DeYoung.
