Anybody heard the new Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler, yet??

Just curious. I've Loved what Harris has done on her last couple of outings, but I've been rather disappointed with Knopfler. This is why I'm rather shy towards putting my money into this release.

I haven't heard one track.

Opininions on "All the Roadrunnuing"??

Hey Bill. We saw the two perform together on Breakfast With The Arts a couple of Sundays ago. Neither Peter or I were very impressed. Outside of Knopfler's usual great guitar work, the songs were pretty boring IMO. It certainly didn't make me want to buy the album.

I also am enamored with Knopfler's current stuff--given your comments/criteria you might want to take a pass on this. I don't know what provider you're using but it can be sampled on SBC Launchcast "Mark Knopfler Fan Radio" for free. Happy hunting.

Thanks folks. I'll give it a sampling first on Launchcast & then decide. Emmylou had me with Red Dirt Girl & Knopfler had me with his forray into soundtracks, but I'll be very cautious with their collaboration.
