I can see some of you guys already missed me. :)

But anyways I did noticed that the new earbuds I got are pretty big for earbuds but do you guys think these are like any other earbuds or are these pretty good? I wonder if there are others that own these earbuds.

What do you mean by "normal"? Actually, I saw a news bulletin that an alien life form was taking on the form of earbuds and taking over peoples minds. The police are arresting any one in sight with earbuds in, to make sure they haven't been invaded.

Most earbuds come with 3 sizes of sleeves or inserts, if you are talking about actual earbuds that go into the canal.

Amazon.com has killer prices on buds and phones. I recently picked up a pair of AKG. I think most people would love these because they are seriously bass heavy. I prefer a more balanced sound. What is good about them though is the rest of the frequency response is pretty good, the highs are extended but not overly so or harsh and the mids have a natural sound not tinny or nasally. These were retail $99.00 or $119.00 and I got them for $39.99 on Amazon. It was a hard choice between them the Denon and Shure. Denon got very good customer reviews. I wasn't even aware they made any.

My experience has been with any headphones or buds I've bought that they require some break in time to sound the way they were intended. I always plug mine into something and let them play for at least 12 hours and usually I'll leave them in to play over night for closer to 24 hours.

When I said normaly earbuds I mean that they aren't really high end they are just regular standard earbuds that people use. But I just was wondering if these are good earbuds or just standard kind.

I would say 'no' they aren't normal. It isn't normal to spend ~$200 on earbuds. That is something for the audiophiles to do. Not normal people. If normal people were audiophiles than the word audiophiles wouldn't exist because it would just be called normal.

So does that mean I finaly got something that is top of the line? Meaning true audiophile sound earbuds?

So how did you get them? I know you didn't spend that kind of money. Nevermind, somethings are better off not known.

Well I did get them for $190 plus shipping but I did noitce that they cost $300 on sonystyle.com. I thought that if I saved money on earbuds then I would get the sound of a speaker that costs $1,000 or more. So I thought it's best to get high end headphones than speakers for same price. But I don't know if that's true. Come to think of it I know you can get nice speakers for $200 or $300 but I mean earbuds that cost $300 got to be like top of the line speakers.

Have you put them in your ears yet? How do they sound? Are you for real?

Yes they sound great and very precise but did you mean to ask that if my earbuds are real? I think you misstyped since it doesn't make sence if you ask if I' am real. I think you were asking if my earbuds are real and yes they are real the acutaly MDR-EX700 as you see on the pics I took using a cam.

Hopefully, they are far more than standard gimme earbuds. The key is finding the sleeve that best fits your ear canal to get the best bass response along with optimum comfort. As for sound quality, do some listening to your favorite CDs (not low rez MP3s) and tell us what you hear. With a good source, you should be hearing more detail than your computer speakers were capable of.

When I travel, a pair of roughly equivalent Shure E3Cs are my constant companion driven by an iPhone with uncompressed music.

"Are you for real?" is an English idiom. Look it up. Get back to me on it.

I have been listening to my new earbuds and I noiticed the highs aren't soo bright and it's warm highs also there is alot of mids on these earbuds. I was wondering what did others think about these earbuds and they said someone really close to what I thought. He did say "However, we'll see shortly that these 'phones lack crystalline qualities in the high-end" Whether or not this is a good or bad thing is very subjective.

Here's someone that reviewed these earphones and said something like what I think.

So basicaly just because it normaly cost $300 it doesn't mean that it will make everyone happy. I thought since these are the top line of Sony earbuds they would be the best one ever but I guess it depends on the person and what they like to hear.

They are very good buds, but maybe not good for you. No matter how much or how little you spend on something, if you don't like it, it isn't worth it.

Have you ever taken a tally of all the $$ you've spent on unsatisfactory stuff and then jettisoned? You might be surprised.

What I find truly amazing is that for the number of threads you've started, how little you've learned,

    Sparky,

Out of curiosity, did your earbuds come with the folding plastic and leather case and all of the earbud bits (7 Sizes with color coded insides) or did they come with 3 sizes of earbuds and a soft case?
