Ok so I am trying to replace the laser in my sony CFD-757 boombox. I have spent hours online searching but can't find what laser anywhere.

I called sony & they were quite surprised I wanted to fix a 1992 box & that they never give out part #s.

I have the whole drive out of the box, can anyone help on this? I know even cheaper cd players use the same laser but dont know how to find it.
