    hd650's and little dot mk3
I have the sennheiser hd650's, and blue dragon v3 headphone cable, hooked up to my little dot mk3 tube amp, and WOW! sound is unbelievable! I've been burning in my tube amp for a week now, and the sound with my current setup, using a CD player is really TRUE REFERENCE CLASS! I would without a doubt recommend the mk3, the hd650's, and an after-market cable! BEST SETUP EVER!

    best regards,

I have the HD-600s and a Musical Fidelity X-Can, then I added the Zu Audio Mobius headphone cable and I have a good idea what you are hearing. I looked at the Blue Dragon and the Black Dragon because I have several Silver Dragon interconnects in my system. It was really a coin toss as to which one to buy. I want to try the new Senn. HD-700's when I get the chance. Enjoy your headphone setup, you did a great job putting it together.

I appreciate that....the next step is to upgrade my CD player :) as I'm using a Walkman....but still, its CD player with a 1 bit built in dac :-)

The only thing though, is that I'm using a CD Walkman...but it does have a 1-bit dac built into it! And CDs are superior to mp3's....that's all I know...and I try to go with 24 bit audio :-) but still sounds awesome!
