I filled out the question form asking how much the material costs, and how difficult the assembly is, but no reply...

something just doesn't seem right... high quality home made speakers that are actually easy to make... I smell a scam... Its been my esperience that the build it yourself rarely work as they are supposed to..
that makes as much sense as a drunken mongoose playing the piano

are you talking planars or just diy in general?

I have made several custom subs for ht and mobile audio, and ... uh... 66% of the time they work as good as or better than expected...

I have yet to build a set of towers, which I would like to attempt sometime soon ;o)

if you are talking about diy planars, did you try a kit, purchase designs somewhere, or just design on your own?

    thanks,
    Mike

no i haven't attempted planars yet, but just in general, I have been disapointed in the DIY products.

it would be nice to see how expensive the diy planars would cost to build.

hmm, almost looks like a magnet assemply on the bottom does the vibrating and the plastic panel amplifies it to audible levels...

Did you note they are "pneumatically driven"? So, is there a small air pump in the base? Never heard any air driven speakers before.
