It seems like our buddy, Soundmind, managed to get banned from the Asylum. What precipitated this action? I couldn't discover a specific reason at PropHead.

I noticed this too. Maybe E-Stat has the scoop: I only saw a subsequent thread where his banning was variously praised or condemned. I gather he used a few poorly choosen words to express his opinion of a certain person or persons. Personally I enjoyed the majority of his posts.

The moderators over at AA let it go to their heads every now and then. I posted a respond to a thread about whether maple or oark was better for equipment shelves; it was deleted I think because I said a person would have to be an "anal jackass" to worry about differences between hardwoods given all the other variables in play.
