    Wireless Routers?

What are you using for wireless home networking?

I've been having some problems with Netgear and I'm wondering how reliable other products are.

I've been using a Linksys 2.4 gig 802.11b since the end of '03 and haven't had any problems that I can think of. I've had to reset the cable modem a few times when comcast went down, and that generally entails resetting the router as well but, aside from that, I've had nary a problem.

BTW, I had to replace the wall wart PS on the RCA cable modem last year.

I DID notice that havyng it in close proximity to mu Belkin APC can cause problems, though

I also use a Netgear wireless router. It had issues with dropped connections and inconsistent throughput speed until I upgraded to the latest firmware version last month. Its current uptime is going on 29 days without a system reset.

Linksys has a reputation for its reliability, though their routers cost more than comparable models from Netgear and D-Link.
