Bert wanted me to tell everyone he appreciates the wishes, but being his 18th, he's too busy buying porno and voting to be here at this time.

    (just kidding wit' ya Bert)...

Happy Birthday from me as well! Treat yourself to some new music. While it was long ago, I still remember the passion for this hobby I had at your age.

And when we're done with that room we can move into the secondary party area.

Plenty o' beer here. I think I can find a decent curry wurst as well, if you want something to chase the beer!

    Happy birthday, ol' man!

There is indeed. The best and original ones are not found in Belgique however, but in Berlin at Fraenkels Imbiss.

    I'm a happy 18 year old now

btw, since the dreamjob at the Jazz Middelheim festival is over now, the organization wanted to thank us all for our work there...
this resulted in the entire crew (all the volunteers & the organization), going to another festival (Feest in het park = party in the park (translated)), which is a reasonably sized pop/rock festival here...

best is that the organization payed the tickets, and we'll be going as VIP's, which means good food, and unlimited free drinks

that should do as a pre-birthday party

    Keep them spinning,
    Bert.

I'd love a nice thick juicy steak, and a baked potato. Who's got the beer?

Not much chance I'll find any here in North Texas. The only decent/real German food place near work doesn't have much variety, and the other restaurants are chain stores. Wonder if I can order some from Amazon.com?

Fortunately, my lady comes from Deutschland, and found this resource. They are reputable and the food is of the highest quality....
