The medicinal uses of elderberry are very diverse. Elderberry flowers have a diaphoretic, antipyretic, diuretic, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, sedative effect. This leads to their use for colds, dry coughs, respiratory diseases, skin rashes, kidney diseases, arthritis, rheumatism, gout.

Take in warm form 1/2 - 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day.

Such honey is added to tea for colds, flu, sore throats, and is drunk as a preventive measure at night.

With sand in the buds, a decoction of flowers is drunk: 20 g of dried flowers per 1 glass of boiling water, boiled in a water bath for 10 minutes. Take a third of a glass (sweeten with honey) each time for 15-20 minutes. before meals.

Black elderberry is a component (often the main one) of many medicinal preparations. I will give only one:

Elderberry flowers 1 h
Stinging nettle leaf 1 h
Parsley root 1 tsp
Willow bark (white or goat) 1 h
Brew 2 tablespoons with top of 0.5 liters of boiling water, insist under a cotton cover until cooled. During the day, they drink from half to a glass of this collection's infusion, with the deposition of salts, osteochondrosis, rheumatoid arthritis. Try it, it helped a lot.

Elderberry preparations not only heal the body, but restore the beauty and elasticity of the skin. Which, in fact, is completely natural, because the condition of the skin and complexion is only a reflection of general well-being in a complex system of life. It has long been known that the work of the intestines directly affects the external attractiveness of a person. And this is not only a saggy stomach, unobtrusively hinting at constipation and sluggish intestinal motility. After all, as a result, the internal organs of a person are constantly squeezed by an expanded intestine, the body is exposed to intoxication and slagging. This is especially true with age. That is why elderberry jam is recommended for women over 40, which regulates the activity of the digestive system.
