There's a time to wait.........

A police officer is patrolling late one night in a well known spot known as Lovers` Lane. He sees a couple in a car, with the interior light brightly glowing. The cop approaches the car to get a closer look. He sees a young man behind the wheel, reading a computer magazine. He then notices a young woman in the back seat, knitting. Puzzled by this unusual situation, the cop walks up to the car and taps on the driver`s side window. The young man rolls down the window. "Uh, yes, officer?" "What are you doing?" the cop asks. "Well, isn`t it obvious?" the young man replies. "I`m reading a magazine, sir." "And her?" the officer says, motioning to the young woman in the back seat. "What is she doing?" "She`s knitting, sir," the young man answers. "I believe it`s a pullover sweater." Now the officer is totally confused. A young couple, alone in a car at night at lovers` lane, and nothing is happening! Bewildered and not knowing what else to do, the officer asks, "What`s your age, young man?" "I`m 25, sir," the man answers. "And her. What`s her age?" the cop asks. The young man looks at his watch and replies, "She`ll be 18 in 11 minutes."
