    And speaking of wind...
...it was 72 years ago on this date in 1934, that observers at the weather station on the summit of Mount Washington, in New Hampshire's Presidential Range measured the highest surface windspeed ever documented on the planet...231mph.

I have the site in my "favorites" file...anyone else have a non-audio/non-music/non-porn fave to share?

...thanx Kam and Dino...I find it hard to believe there are only three of us that have interests outside the three I mentioned...I mean no one collects stamps or builds log cabins and has an appropriate site germane to that interest they visit even semi-regularly?...Model trains? Gothic cathedrals? Limited range ballistic missles?
