Something funny I found on craigslist

A guy is selling a pair of Sony SS-V430 with no foam around the woofers but duct tape! He also added that it won't affect the sound!

When I saw this, I started laughing! What a guy! He asks $50 for them!

At least he's not trying to sell them out of a white van. I saw one (actually a black SUV) last week at my local Home Depot. He had a mark and was giving him the "left over from a custom install and my boss will kill me if I bring them back so I will give these $800 a pair speakers to you for $150" spiel. I walked past them and commented: "what happened to your white van?" He responded: "keep moving, old man". He was big and had lots of tatoos, so I did.

I have never seen them but I see a lot of white van speakers on the chicago craigslist. The most common are acoustic monitors, omni speakers and dynalab!

Classic. I love how he's painted the tape. They were crappy when they were new, imagine what they sound like now.
