It's too hot here even for swimming. That would require me to be outside. I'm not going outside. Well, I guess I'll have to walk from my car to my house, but other than those 20 or so feet that I have to walk...I'm not going outside.

No, no, Rich. I'm not making fun of you at all (okay, maybe just a little wee bit). I just can't imagine having this kind of heat as often as you do. It's brutal out there! It's currently 33C with the humidity factor taking it up to 42C. That's 108F!!!

We're not used to temps this high here.

I bet you don't find as many swimming pools up there as in Texas either. Maybe you should go visit Rich to cool off.

My heart goes out to you guys big time. We had a one day heat wave here where the temperature got to 95 degrees....I stayed in the hometheater that entire day with my dogs.

Today it is 68 degrees and the sun is just coming out from behind the fog. Did I just rub salt into your wounds?

It is so hot (no joke!) the weatherman down here said a "cold front" will be moving in that will lower temperatures to the mid 80's by the end of the week. Break out the Parkas!!!!
