(I tried getting around in Atlanta recently and it was a little frustrating.)

I would ship you a burger or sandwich and a shake from Steak n Shake, but I don't think it would travel well.

There's a lot of good Thai food in Atlanta...or maybe it's not all that great and I just really like mediocre Thai food...I'll ask my wife when I get home for some nearby suggestions.

We just drove 80 miles (each way) last Saturday to eat at a good Thai restaurant back in NY. There are others that we know of that are closer, but we wanted the good stuff. I love their Massaman curry .

Any guesses as to why this site, and others like it, have become so tedious...others have mentioned the current state of things, but there hasn't been much real discussion about it
Good question. For me, the topics have become a bit stale and I miss the heated "discussions" that we had with Lex, SVI, and even Hershon. We need a little spice now and again. I pretty much just hang out in FF...and now OT :).

How often do you give your dog a bath?
Every weekend. She has skin allergies so she has a medicated shampoo to help her itching. Besides, she can only come in the house if she doesn't smell like, well...a dog.

When was the last time you played miniature golf?
A few months back. Hey, I've got two young boys and the park is a 1/2 mile from my house.

When was the last time you ate at White Castle?
The closest I've been to White Castle is when I had a Harold and Kumar flashback. We've got In 'N Out on the West Coast.

What do you consider your secret musical indulgence?
I like British jazz influenced pop: Simply Red, Swing Out Sister, Sade, and I'm a huge Level 42 fan. Mark King is a god on the bass. 'Course, I'm listening to Tool while I'm typing this, so you can safely surmise my tastes are varied to say the least.

    What's your favorite food? Drink?
Grilled Chilean sea bass or Chinese style sea bass in hot oil and soy sauce. Favorite drink is Sprite, alchoholic is beer.

Anything that has to do with speed and lately, an unhealthy interest in watches.

You know...Jaeger LeCoultre, IWC, Vacheron Constantin. The gearhead in me is intrigued by the precision and workmanship of the jewels and movements, although I admit the realist part of my brain keeps reminding me they still only tell time. This little obsession began when a fellow car nut was astounded I wasn't into watches. Apparently, both appeal to the same kind of psychosis :p.

So THAT'S what it means when a lady's (chick, broad, babe, hottie) being "coy" with me.

I'll tell ya, I'm learning soooo much about life from right here in the AR forums!

GM, you dipped into the wrong cooler. Margarita's are generally greenish in color, not yellow. :eek6:

I vote for "hottie". Never heard of any female objecting to that name.

    The sun is shining...
    Birds are a chirpin'
    Bees be buzzin...
The livin' is easy and the cotton is high!!!

Ah guess life DOES go on without LOST (notice how it's a four letter word). But in the back of my mind I'm wonderin'...

"How in the hell are they gonna get Freckles, Jack and all else BACK on the island so they can have a show?"

Yep. Life is good. The sun is shining. And, I assume that the bird's are chirping and the bee's are buzzing. I can't actually hear them from my office. No cotton growing in Toronto. But my Snapdragon's have grown pretty high, does that count?

I've got a nice weekend planned. Maybe taking in a baseball game tomorrow night (waiting to see if we can get free tickets). A BBQ with some good friends planned for Saturday. And a nice massage booked for Sunday, while Hubby's out golfing.

There's not a whole lot that I could complain about right now. I'm a lucky girl.

So, what's up for your weekend?

Well, if it makes ya feel any better, I thought Knock-Up was pretty damn funny. Typical, predictable, silly at times, but good.
