Need to restrict my kids on the use of net!!!!!

Hi people, I have been watching the activity of my kids for a week and that puts me in doubt. They have been spending too much time on the system and I found some files on the system that they shouldn’t have accessed (the ones that their age does not permit). I fear that this may spoil them from the academic view and I need to prevent them from doing this and at the same time do not want to restrict their time on the system.

    Any suggestions?????

That picture was great. I removed the links but I left the rest of the thread so all could enjoy.

Let your kids know that you can see everything they do on the computer. Even the stuff that they think they have deleted.

I let my kids do whatever they want on the internet EXCEPT respond to spammers.

Does anyone know of any software that blows up spammers real good?

If this site's software was brought out of the stone age, a lot of this spam would be much more easily managed.

I don't get it. Why is this a spam? I don't see any kind of advertisements.

JM was talking about a different thread GM. Some loser posted like 7 - 8 links to sites, as well as including links in his sig.

To me, this thread slightly resembles something Joe Bialeck(sp?) would post. Let's see how it plays out though.

Wait until tomorrow when Spam Man's partner shows up and suggests a product that has some sort of parental control to block out harmful sites.

The answer is simple: Grandma. Put up as many pictures of Grandma as you can...hundreds of 'em, thousands if you can. Crazy glue pictures of the grande dame in the loo, on the monitor, and in the refridgerator. Use a Grandma screensaver. Frame, mount and bolt to the wall thousands of pictures of Grand MaMa in the computer room. Make it a cornucopia, a veritable plethora, of matronly sainthood around the house.

If the little buggars still display carnal desires there's no hope...restrict the machine to nothing but midget porn stations and tell all their friends.
So, I broke into the palace

She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"

I'm sorry, are you suggesting that you take pictures of your grandmother on the crapper? Now, you have some disturbing avatars, but if this one ever shows up....I think I'll puke.

kinda, most likely, they're both the same pc

one spammer says something, sometimes asking a (irrelevant) question, and then later, another spammer responds, giving an answer like 'hey, I have a solution for your problem, it's called ******** (link), check it out', or similar.

smart spamming, makes it look believable...

    Keep them spinning,
