Smile Jim Clark, program for reducing picture size worked like a charm.

Thanks again for the link. It was easy to use, don't take too much space (only 870 KB) and it work with GIFs also. I was able to reduce my Avatar (left picture) to half of its size-so it can fit 80x80 pixels size limit

    Hey Smokey...

Have you tried it on "animated" GIF's? I downloaded it(Irfanview) also but "reduce" command isn't available when an animated GIF is selected. Maybe have to break up into seperate pics to reduce and then reassemble?

Try it and let me know.

Smile Choose "Stop Animation" option first.

I had a rough time with that one also. But if you choose "Stop Animation" under Options menu, you be able to use "resize" command. The down side is that once shrinked, GIFs will not animate again. May be there is a way to bypass that problem, but haven't figure it out yet.

Glad it worked for you Smokey. Hopefully someone else who needs a simple graphics program for the same task will see this freeware link and benefit as well.

You can easily resize animated GIFs using the online editor at http://www.gifworks.com/
